Have the same thing in other games, in Ghost Recon Wildlands it would go down as 45fps with GPU usage sitting at around 70-80%.
I have the same motherboard, with a Ryzen 1500X OC'd at 3,9ghz.
Ah I found it happen in one of Digital Foundry's videos. Their benchmark doesn't show much of the grassy area but at 9:38 you can see the FPS tank on the Vega cards as the camera pans over the grassy areas. It's definitely a limitation of AMD's drivers here, most likely taxings that single thread, even the OC'd 6700k can't keep the frames up.
Got testing with console commands. The ones I've found that have any meaningful effect on fps are:
which are most likely controlled by object quality. This appears to be where the bottleneck is.
r_BatchType which is reported to help in Kingdom Come is not in Crysis 3, or atleast not toggleable.
