Greetings, I'm also looking for an answer.
HDCP is deactivated in my driver - I can't find any help to activate it.
It is not possible to watch a blu-ray on my system, and it makes me mad! I paid for these discs and can't watch them!
I've tried older drivers, other cables, reinstall windows, reset bios...nothing helps.
It looks like an AMD driver problem.
I'm using a R7 360 with updated Windows 10-64bit, driver is 17.8.2.
Before this card, I had a GTX 1070 and there was never a problem with HDCP. Nothing else changed in my system.
So please AMD - this needs to be fixed!
thanks for the advice! Unfortunately it didn't help...
I've also tried different cables, HDMI and DisplayPort, no difference.
Display is a Dell U2515H and with the Nvidia card there was never a problem with HDCP.
All drivers are properly installed, the blu-ray drive works perfect. It reads every disc, but PowerDVD won't play the content until HDCP is activated.
It looks like more people suffer from this, so please AMD help your customers!
I know what you mean. I've updated from 17.7.2. Did you try clean install?
And, what message do you see in PowerDVD when you're trying to play bluray movie?
HDCP and UEFI are issues I have faced with HD 7000 series cards. More recent cards have come up short too.
