Hello AMD Community
I am a Armature developer and run multiple server on One system regularly.
I still use the FX 8350 as a VM server for all my multitasking needs.
Recently I had to upgrade my memory capacity and had to replace the memory that I already had in my system and now I have 4 memory cards that I am not using .
So I was wondering if my board had 8 slots I could have just added memory in my system.
Is there a market for 8 Memory slot support like the Intel's X99 platform, but from AMD?
Me for one will actually purchase an AMD that supports Quad channel ,8 slot motherboard.
Mane question is : Will it be beneficial to release this kind of platform for enthusiasts, developers, gamers etc. ?
I really doubt that AMD will release any new chipsets for desktop FX CPUs and current chipsets can support only 32 GB of RAM
If you want more RAM you need another platform.By the way, Ryzen CPU supports 64GB of RAM maximum (4x16GB)
