Monitor Id in Dual Display: Conflict?

Hi there,

Here's a little background on the issue posted here.

The problem is that in an extended display in AMD Radeon settings the DVI connected monitor ids as 2 and the HDMI connected monitor ids as 1. This agrees with the Windows CP settings.

However in the Additional Settings > My Digital Flat Panes the DVI ids as 1 and the HDMI corresponds to 2 when clicked on.

The help on GPU scaling is outdated as of 15.9.2?

There's also another issue with a legacy application designed for 1024 X 768 fullscreen. Using CDS_FULLSCREEN in Widescreen (16:9) it appears that a change made in GPU Scaling and Scaling Mode works once, but changes made after do not, unless there is a wait- at least 5 minutes or so.

Back in the day, hiding the taskbar would allow the newly created app window to be shifted above the taskbar to fill the screen on its show event. Not so now, as hiding the taskbar in code does not prevent a taskbar show after the resolution change, so that the lower part of the form drops down behind the taskbar and is a taskbar width from the top of the screen. Also the form seems to have resized by 10 pixels on either side, so part of the desktop shows there as well.

Can anyone suggest a way of doing this with the driver, or should the form just be shifted by code after the res change so it conforms to MonitorWorkArea?  Oops: this is an issue with the app.

Thanks for any responses.
