I have Asus 1215b netbook with E-450 APU (HD6320 graphics). I use Windows 10 Technical Preview build 10166 x64 Pro. Default Windows driver for this graphics are 15.200.1012.2 from 11 march 2015. I've tried to install the newest AMD Catalyst™ 15.7 but they does not support HD6320. The question is why?
the following cards are listed:
AMD68E1.8 = "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series"
AMD68E1.12 = "ATI Radeon HD 6230"
AMD68E1.13 = "ATI Radeon HD 6250"
AMD68E1.14 = "ATI Radeon HD 6350"
while 6000 series and HD6320 are missing.
Installer fails to install the driver. I know it's low end and old APU. With proper driver I can play old games like GTA III/VC or not so
demanding ones like Audiosurf. Those games worked fine on Win7. I get unacceptable performance on default Win10 driver from march.
I added right strings to .inf file, rebooted with disabled driver signatures checking and when tried to install the driver the device manager told me the driver for this card does not support my OS (Win10 x64 build 10166).
1) Why 15.7 driver does not support HD 6320?
2) Are you going to support the card on Windows 10 RTM?
3) Are you going to release newer driver the same day Windows 10 RTM will be released? (07/29/2015)
