15.7: DXVA hardware accelerated video playback not working anymore

I'm using Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC) and Kodi (XBMC). DXVA Hardware accelerated video playback in both players stopped working since installing catalyst 15.7. Playback starts, I can hear the audio, but no video is visible. MPC-HC just shows a black screen, Kodi show the menu, and later crashes.

After rolling back the driver using Windows Device Manager everything is working again. (Other 15.7 components besides the driver are still installed.) Disabling DXVA in the video player options also works, but isn't an acceptable workaround. A snippet from Kodi's log:

I'm having this problem on an AMD A4-3400 APU running Windows 8.1. I was wondering if other people are seeing the same issue (on other hardware) and/or if anyone has any other suggestions besides rolling back the driver or disabling DXVA.

PS. I reported the issue also via the AMD Issue Reporting Form.
