I saw a reddit post earlier that stated that HDMI 2.0 was not supported in the new flagship Fury X. If this is true, I would really like to know why not. I had purchased a R9 295x2 for the purpose of playing 4K games in my living room on a 4K tv. Too bad, after I got the thing installed and went to buy a TV, I found that only 2 models from Panasonic support mdp 1.2a. I figured that since HDMI 2.0 was "new" when this card came out, that AMD was going to include it in their next series. Afterall, the 970, 980 and Titan X all have HDMI 2.0 support.

My point is, not everyone wants to game at a desk on a Freesync monitor. Give us the option, or we'll take the option to go Nvidia.
