I just ordered two of these 1 TB M.2 generation 4.0 SSD storage drives on Amazon for $55 USD each, so with tax it came to $116.58 in total. They aren't the fastest drives out there, but with the included heatsink, they can fit into many of the motherboards on my LAN computers and be useful for game storage - or even online backup.
On Amazon it says it is a 2 pack. Is it? If so that is an amazing deal and I would jump on it.
I saw that and I think they mean the SSD and the heatsink as two items. There is no way they would sell two 1 TB M.2 drives (gen 4) for $25 each.
I will know tomorrow when my package arrives!
Sweet. Let me know. I have friends still on HDD because it is "cheap". Might play this card next time they complain about load times.
Ok, my delivery arrived and my neighbor picked it up from my porch for me, since we were out in Washington DC last night for dinner and a show. I got my hands on it this morning and just opened up one of the M.2 drive packages. As I expected, there was only one M.2 SSD storage drive and one heatsink assembly in each package, so I got two drives and two heatsinks for the $116 outlay. Quite a good deal I think.
The best news? You can still order it at $55 each even today (17 Aug 2024). Time to jump on it.
sadly in other countries it is not available at 55 dollars pricepoint. 😕
That is unfortunate.
