Questions about hardware and software support on SEV-ES
Hi, everyone,
I have several questions on SEV-ES.
- Does AMD EPYC 7281 support SEV-ES?
Is there any information about which specific EYPC CPU support SEV-ES?
2. Does SEV-ES require Bios support or specific motherboard?
3. Does any Linux/KVM enable SEV-ES?
Thanks a lot!

Hello,
All EPYC processors have hardware support for SEV-ES. You should be running the latest SEV firmware (currently 0.17 b22). It is available here: https://developer.amd.com/sev/.
The Linux/KVM patches are not yet in the upstream kernel, but are available for review here: AMDSEV/stable-commits at sev-es · AMDESE/AMDSEV · GitHub
