Hi,

We are looking to spec a new workstation that is part of our turnkey ATE product. One issue we always have is that our customers require that the components of the system, including the workstation, remain available, unchanged, for 5 to 7 years.

I am trying to find information on AMD processor models that will continue to be available for purchase for 5 to 7 years. In the Intel world, this is called "embedded options".

Our requirements are a minimum of 8 cores (16 threads), 64 PCIe lanes, and 3.2Ghz minimum base clock. Does AMD have a long life roadmap, and if so, where can I find this information?

Hi @rpoffen, I have the same need for a long availability workstation with similar specs plus ECC memory support (Threadripper PRO?). Did you ever find an answer from AMD?

Now that Intel has delayed Sapphire Rapids release and Dell delayed the Precision 5800 series refresh until 2023, I need an alternative.
