I’m trying to run a VMPL1 VM with SNP feature ‘alternate injection’ on but had some trouble. My code works normally without alternate injection, but after I enabled the feature by setting the 4th bit in VMSA.SEV_FEATURE and started the VM, I got a VMEXIT_BUSY (exit_code=0xfffffe). I read the APM and found that it’s because the 63th bit in its VMSA.VIntrCtrl is set to 1. What makes me confused is how was that bit set? There shouldn’t be any code which explicitly modifies it, is it due to some hardware behaviors?
