Hi All,

Intel Xeon has the feature QAT to accelerate SSL/TLS encryption.

I wonder if AMD EPYC has a similar feature as Intel® QuickAssist Technology.

Does anyone share any information about this?

Hello!

AMD EPYC processors natively support AES instructions. This enables hardware acceleration for SSL/TLS and is implemented in libraries such as OpenSSL (https://www.openssl.org/).
