Going to try and fit all of this material in this Fractal Arc MIDI R2 case. How you ask? I have no clue but it's all going in.
Is that a screen on the drive bay?
Yes Sir. About the only thing I could find that would somewhat fit right.
Moving right along, aren't we? How does that water block mount to the four posts around the CPU? I don't see any screws exposed at the top.
There is a hex key that allows you to use that backplate to mount it. I’ll post some pics of it later. Got everything piped. Time to start testing the loops.
It is a hex key on the end of an allen head and it fits in the backplate hole and you screw counter-clockwise to tighten.
I do like the EK water blocks
was going to use dual pumps in a series loops but decided to make 2 loops because I just like pain I guess. What a pain in the a$$. Sorry about photos, doing this on my iPhone till I get up and running.
It has snowed about a foot so far here. We had a little break enough to go shovel the sidewalks and clean off the trucks. Suppose to start up again in the next 30 mins and dump another 12-18" on us.
Had both loops filled and running and a nasty noise like a jet engine crash landing came out of my 240-res pump. I have heard this sound before and new instantly it was DOA. Fast tracked a new pump and upgraded to the lcd version to match the 360-res pump and everything is running smooth.
Any more changes to your build?
Have some loose ends to finish up and waiting on my 90 degree HDMI and USB-C adapters for the front monitor and then I will clean it up and take some good photos. Ran a quick Firestrike bench everything at stock settings. Turned out pretty clean I think.
Looking great I do believe. Congratulations.
This is sick, dude. I love the Lian Li LCD fans.
How is this new build performing in games?
