I use After Effects extensively and I bought a wx9100 to be a external GPU and AE doesn't see if for Ray-tracing and it only sees it as 8gb when it is 16gb how do I get the wx9100 in my Sonnet Breakaway 650W to work with AE

I use After Effects extensively and I bought a wx9100 to be a external GPU and AE doesn't see if for Ray-tracing 3D and it only sees it as 8gb when it is 16gb how do I get the wx9100 in my Sonnet Breakaway 650W to work with AE to increase my rendering speed. I have iMac 64GB Ram, and High Sierra 10.3.6
