I have the exacte same problem like "thedenoff". Blender goes down when I try to click on the activate button in the Add-ons Preference pane. I use an Mac Pro 5,1, Mojave, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2 GB.
Anyone an Idea? Solved?
Beginers question: can I use ProRes to render on my Nvidia? I'm stuck in Mac/NVIDIA problem, can't use CUDA because of Mojave. And for uggrading: what AMD card should I get? Is Vega frontier Edition 16 GB ok? right now I'm redering on my CPU.
