Hi all

I need your help with the 1950x.

My PC is lagging (cursor) when I'm using Lightroom and during gaming.

Specs are:

• Gigabyte X399 Designare EX
• Threadripper 1950X
• GeForce RTX 2080
• Kingston HyperX Predator (2x 16GB, DDR4-3600)
• Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3
• Seasonic Focus Plus Gold (650W)

I think something is wrong with the AMD. I made a screenshot Ryzen Master and I see only 2 active cores? Do I have to change some settings? Or did I a mistake when I installed the 1950x?

majado1o, tell us about Windows.  I suspect you did not install a fresh copy of W10.  Please format your C disk and install a fresh copy of W10.  You can get a copy here and it will write a USB stick ready to install.  Please post your CPU cooler.  You power supply is probably too small.  I have a 1950X and use a 850 Watt supply.  When you get all cores going, you may have freeze or crash problems.  Enjoy, John.
