- Enabling Memory Integrity in Windows 10 along with exposing (Enabling CPCC) the CPCC APCI table causes Windows 10 to hang (black screen) after the logo/loading spinner.
- Enabling Memory Integrity in Windows 10 along with disabling (Disabling CPCC) the CPCC APCI table lets Windows 10 boot and Memory Integrity functions.
This has been reported before and I'm on 20H2 fully patched.
Additionally:
- Having CPPC enabled causes idle clocks to lock at Base Clock (3.7GHz) during Idle. This has been reported too. I'm not educated enough to say whether clock gating matters but why build it in if your CPU Power Management driver is going to lock the CPU at base clock?
- Disabling CPPC lets the CPU (in this case a 5600x) idle at 2.2GHz.
