Help! I am trying to get a warranty replacement on my Ryzen 5900x, but AMD is giving me the run around and I don't know what to do.
I purchased it new from Newegg last year, gave them all the info, email order confirmation, invoice copy, picture of CPU in board (!?).
Now they are saying they can't find the order on Newegg? What am I supposed to do about that? Will AMD really use that lame excuse to back out of a warranty on their product? There is no way to actually speak to anybody about it so now I am facing getting hosed on a $500 CPU. I really am regretting not sticking with Intel now, and from looking through other posts, I am not the only one that AMD is being dishonest with.
Is there anything I can do? Why do large companies always treat their customers like c**p?
