upgraded from 3400g to 5700x on a a320m-h mobo, there is no display

I upgraded my cpu and the pc seems to turn on but it doesn't give any video, and whenever i try to turn off the power using the power button on the front of the case it doesn't work and i have to use the one in the back (the psu one).

This only happens using the new cpu, whenever i switch back to the 3400g it starts normally.

things that i have tried already:

  1. Restarting the bios using the battery and also trying to short the pins
  2. Removing all hardware and put it back again
  3. Updating again my bios. Went from F56b (which should already be compatible with the new cpu) to F57

Mobo: gigabyte a320m-h rev 1.x

cpu: r5 3400g -> r7 5700x

gpu: rtx 3060

psu: 650w bronze

silly question .. but do you have your monitor plugged into your GPU and not one of the video ports on your motherboard?
