Upgrade an AMD a-6 quad core 6310 microprocessor in my HP desktop

I own a HP Laptop Model 17 -F001 DX Laptop that runs on an AMD A-6 quad core 6310 APU 1-88H2. I want to buy a faster AMD processor for my machine. What faster AMD processor should I buy?  Can I buy a older RYzen that will work with this motherboard. please advise thank you M.J  email: alinajoyce1@yahoo.com

First your CPU is soldered to the motherboard. So upgrade will be extremely difficult and costly.

Here is CPU World's specs on your APU: https://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Puma/AMD-A6-Series%20A6-6310.html

Second if you should find a upgrade you need to contact HP Support and find out if your laptop's BIOS supports the new APU and whether it will fit in your motherboard.

Your laptop is not compatible with Ryzen Mobile APUs.
