TRYING ACTIVATING RESIZABLE BAR ON 2700X AND X470 TAIC, BUT 4G DECODING BREAKS THE NETWORKS ADAPTER

Hi  here are my specs:

CPU;RYZEN 2700X

MOBO:X470 TAICHI

GPU:NVIDIA 3060

RAM: 32GB 3200MHZ CL14 GSKILL FLARE-X

DUAL BOOT WIN 10/11

STORAGE:NVME

 

When i activate 4G DECODING, windows 10 can't boot, while windows 11 boots but the network adapter seems broken.

When i check the network adapter in device manager has a warning on it and the error says that the device cannot start, no more info.

Probably you are on a very old BIOS version that doesn't support ReBAR.

Looks like your bios version must be at least 4.70 in order to have proper rebar support.

Also officially rebar is not supported on your CPU... So even if you manage to enable it in BIOS it will probably not do much so I don't recommend that you update the bios just for this. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
