This is in desperation of joining someone at AMD.
I bought a 5950x in April 2021, after some days I got some BSODs : "Cache Hierarchy Error" but mostly "Bus/Interconnect Error" and "Core error". And more the time passed by, more those BSODs were frequent (every hour at the end).
I have the chance of having a second machine based on AMD, so I tried to :
- Change the RAM
- Change the motherboard
- Change the PSU
- Reinstalling the OS
- Updating all possible firmwares and drivers
- Giving the CPU more juice (which reduced those BSOD to 1 per day)
Nothing to do. The only way to suppress those BSOD was to reduce drastically the frequency of the CPU (2.4 GHz). And now the CPU is very stable. But considering the price I decided to ask for an RMA in June (ticket n°8201103248).
Unfortunately, they responded the next day asking me for some photos, but I was on business travel and I could respond only 4 days after.
But this is the start of my misery, since that day NO MORE ANSWER from AMD. I tried to reply to the original conversation something like ten times, creating new RMA requests. After some time with other email addresses (maybe I got a ban?)... Nothing.
So please AMD... I need to replace this CPU, I bought it to do some video encoding and other CPU heavy works, but since I bought it, it seems like having a Lada car for the price of a Ferrari.

I have reviewed the tickets against your account, and found the following tickets:
8201103248 - opened 6/17/2021, response from AMD sent on 6/17/2021
8201107021 - opened 6/28/2021, response from AMD sent on 6/30/2021
In both the RMA requests, the agent requested more information that is required to process the RMA but there was no further response received from you.
Tickets close automatically after 10 days if there is no response received.
Perhaps the response went into your spam folder ?
I suggest you open a new RMA request for your product.
This is strange, I verified and nothing in my spam folder or even in the spam folder on the webmail directly.
I will try again, but what interrogate me is that there is only two ticket opened for at least 5 or 6 RMA request from me.
