Will I still get a Starfield key?
How would I choose to get a key for Steam?
First thing you need to do is ask the S.African Retailer if they are a AMD Participant in AMD Promotions.
Also check the 7600X Retailer page and see if it mentions AMD promotion. If it doesn't then there is a good chance they are not Participants in AMD promotion.
In AMD REWARDS TERMS & CONDITIONS it generally mentions which Global Area has AMD Promotions. I didn't see any for Africa just Japan.
So the best thing to do is simply ask the Retailer or Vendor if they are participating in any AMD Promotions concerning the Star field game.
Googled some South African Retailers:
Mikrotech Online Retailer sells the Ryzen 7600X but doesn't mention anything about AMD Promotions
Computersonly same thing.
Takealot S.African Online Retailer same thing.
Doesn't seem like South Africa qualifies for the AMD Promotions.
I have checked, the retailer is valid and they do have AMD promotions for the Ryzen 5 7600X if you would buy it on its own, but the bundle I want to buy includes a motherboard, RAM, CPU and CPU cooler.
I cant link the product because the reply gets flagged as spam.
what I meant by AMD Promotions was does it mention you can get the Starfield game if your purchase the Ryzen processor?
Here are the AMD REWARDS Terms & Conditions for the AMD Promotion:
NOTE: Even though you a buying several components as a bundle you still qualify since the Processor will come in its own separate AMD Retail box.
EDIT: Went to Evetech website and I believe I saw the bundle that you are planning on buying: https://www.evetech.co.za/ryzen-5-7600x-prime-b650-plus-rgb-32gb-6200mhz-upgrade-kit/best-deal/18199...
No where in that bundled advertisement that it mentions the AMD Promotion for Starfield Game.
I would highly suggest you call Customer Service and ask them directly if they are participating in the AMD Promotional for Starfield game give away.
Thanks for the help.
The 7600X does include starfield on evetech:
but I will call customer support and ask if the bundle includes starfield.
Okay, If that AMD Promotion is from the processor's retail page it at least shows the Retailer does participate in the promotion.
But I would still verify with Customer Service as indicated by the Terms & Conditions.
