Ryzen 9 5900X Overheating

Hi!

I have a problem a problem with my CPU that has started to happen pretty recently. Right now I have a Ryzen 9 5900X. I have had the processor for about two years now and have used the computer for gaming, 3D modelling, scripting and unity/unreal engine. When I got the CPU, the temperture were always around 35 degrees when being idle. Meaning I had nothing on. No applications, no games and no small tasks in the background. When I played games the temperture were okay. For example:

- Call of Duty ~ 60 Degrees Celsius

- FIFA ~ 65-70 Degrees Celsius

- League of Legends ~ 45-50 Degrees Celsius

- Being Idle ~ 30-40 Degrees Celsius

The temps were very low and I thought it was because I had a good cooler.

But now just maybe two months ago the temp started to get higher when idle and playing games. For example, when playing CoD or EA FC, the temp on the CPU can go up to 80-85 Degrees and the CPU Package can go up to 90-95. And that worries me because the temps should not go above 90. I have checked and tried the following:

- Checked BIOS

- Reset BIOS Settings

- Removed and reinstalled Cooler

- Changed Thermal Paste TWICE

- Changed Speed on the casing Fans (to higher speeds)

What I haven't tried yet is to reset the whole PC. Do a fully reset that means.

Of course there are many other things I haven't tested/changed. And if there are any big changes or settings I can try please do come with examples and how to do them. My Specifications on the computer are:

- ASUS ROG Strix B550 E-Gaming

- Ryzen 9 5900X

- ASUS 3060 TUF Gaming 12GB OC

- Fractal Design Lumen S36 RGB AiO

- 32 GB RAM (4X8)

- 850W MWE V2 Cooler Master Gold PSU

- Windows 10

All the components are about two years old exept the PSU and GPU that are around three years old.

Please feel free to write any advice or tips/tricks!

Check if the AIO pump is working. Lower the other fans, open side panel, change Pump speed and listen close to whirring  sound changes.

Touch the tubing coming out of the AIO, should be hotter than the one coming from the radiator.

Good luck
