so a few weeks ago I and my friend bought the exact same pc part literally..same case same everything, when we built our pces i didn't notice my CPU temperature since we have the same exact build we benchmarked on his pc, temps are fine on his side hitting 60c when gaming and full load around 80c to 85c and 35c on idle (using a stock fan). However when I benchmarked and tested my own build temps where way different
50c-55c on idle
70c-75c when gaming and on full load hits 95c
this blew my mind
I checked the case fans (thinking it was an airflow problem)
I have checked if the CPU fan was working fine
and I even took the CPU fan re-applied the thermal paste
after that, I assumed it was a malfunction in the CPU fan so I went and bought a liquid cooler 240
temps went down alright
42c-46c on idle
60c-65c gaming
80c-85c on full load
and then here it comes.... my friend decided to buy the same exact liquid cooler and installed it
his CPU temperatures are shocking
27c-30c on idle
40c-45c gaming
and 65c-75c on full load!
please help me I've literally tried everything
