Hello, I have a Ryzen 7800x3D but when I start the PC from cold it always crashes.
the event viewer says it's because of kernel-power
Is there any way to repair it?
thank you
Hi Dashky, the same thing happens here. It only fails in browsers, watching YouTube. Seems like a constant problem in the latest BIOS versions since AMD had that "fried cpus problem". Try this in bios:
Disable C-state
Disable Medium Load Boostit
We are all waiting for AMD to solve this.
In the end I had to lower the CPU frequency to 4.8ghz and it was fixed
It seems that the problem was that it gave 5ghz peaks and crashed
My 7800X3D is 3.5 months old, GPU RX 7900 XFX. Complete system failed last wed. MB is Gigabyte B650 Elite AX ICE. I only get red lights for CPU and DRAM now. Replaced MB with new gigabyte, now only CPU red light. I think 7800 X3D overheated and took out both MB and CPU. Much money invested, very sad about this. Posted here because not sure how to post new event. Hope your issue gets worked out.

Did you check that it had the latest version of bios?
because the first X3D had the problem that they overheated because of the motherboard
It is best that you take it under warranty.
and now I have had to lower the maximum temperature to 80º
because if I use the CPU and the integrated GPU it overheats and makes a strange noise
better to warn than to cure
