Ryzen 7 5800X3D or Ryzen 9 5900X

I have a Ryzen 7 5700X installed but want to upgrade either the 5800X3D or  5900X. I do quite a bit of video work and play a few games.

The games I mostly play are:-

Farthest Frontier/Manor Lords/Transport Fever 2/Football Manager 2024/Anno 1800. I also play a bit of World of Tanks. I don't play games like Call of Duty/Battlefield/etc.

Video editing I use:- Adobe Premier Pro, Handbrake, Xmedia recode. Nero.

As the games I play are not exactly hardware busting, I am leaning towards the 5900X.

Would like some opinions please.

Regards and Thanks.

Unless you feel that 50% more CPU cores will benefit you significantly in your video editing work, there is no reason to upgrade sideways within the AM4 platform. Save your money for an AM5 system.
