Hi
I bought my CPU back in November and I had a lot of BSOD crashes at PC startup. Like 3-4 out of 10.
Sometimes the BSOD doesn't occur but Bitdefender refuse to start and I have to restart the Windows.
I thought it's the curse of early adopter - immature BIOS, drivers or whatever - but in the light of the new allegations from PowerGPU and Wccftech, I wonder if my CPU isn't faulty.
Until recently I've used memory sticks that aren't QVL and only recently I've bought QVL memory (I've installed it 2 days ago) so maybe that could have been the culprit too. Since then I had no BSOD but it's kinda early to say they've stopped completely.
What's odd is the fact that the BSOD occur only when I'm starting my PC in the morning and only once. After the system reboots itself - without shutting down the power - it works flawlessly until I shut it down, with absolutely no crashes, errors... nothing, absolutely flawlessly. Even recurring power-off/power-on cycles won't give me any BSOD, it's like it it's only related to the first power on in the morning.
Is there anyone who gets this errors? Or it can be addressed by some BIOS settings? I'm not even OC the CPU, the BIOS is on [Optimized default] with DOCP profile for my memory and that's it.
