Ryzen 7 3700X, X570 Aorus Elite, Nothing happens, no access to bios, no display
Hello,
Following an order dated December 1 for a complete configuration of a pc, I am sending this message because I am encountering a technical problem.
Since the assembly of my pc last December, the PC worked perfectly well for a period of 7 months.
However, at the end of last week, the pc screen froze at the end of the day. I restarted it, but since then, it is impossible to restart it normally.
Now, every time I restart it, the CPU fan starts to spin quickly for around 5 sec, then it turns off for one second and just afterwards, it turns back on but stays at a slow speed, with a lower LED lighting. Nothing happens, no access to bios, no display (black screen).
I did not overclock anything, I did not touch any component factory settings since its purchase because the PC was powerful enough for what I had to do. The PC has a suitable cooling (3 fans).
Those are things I did :
1. I unplugged each RAM bar, one by one
2. I unplugged the video card to try to connect the screen to the motherboard
3. I unplugged the hard drive
4. I have removed and reinstalled my CMOS battery, also tried the jumper method.
5. I updated the bios twice. Once with the factory version (F3) and the other time with the most recent version (F20a).
I tried all the possible alternatives.
Would you have an idea or advice ?
Could you help me ?
Thank you very much for your help.

In my opinion, if everything was working well and you didn't immediately add or removed or replaced any hardware, sounds like a hardware became defective or something shorted out.
If you know someone else with a compatible Motherboard, try testing your Processor, RAM, GPU, Monitor, etc in the other computer to see if it works correctly.
Check the Motherboard's Trouble LEDs or Digital code or Beeps to narrow down which Hardware is involved.
Check to make sure no cables came off or had loosened up and also check to make sure all hardware is properly connected inside the computer case.
It is possible the Computer is booting up since the CPU Cooler fan starts high and then settles down since the CPU is not under heavy load while booting up.
By the way, when you mentioned "the CPU fan starts to spin quickly for around 5 sec, then it turns off for one second and just afterwards, it turns back on but stays at a slow speed, with a lower LED lighting." How long "afterwards" does the fan turns back on, almost immediately or a few seconds?
When you power up, Is the Computer case HDD LED light flashing or solid? Computer case Power LED lit all the time? If it is that means it is probably booting up but you can't see anything since you have no video.
Disconnect everything from your motherboard except PSU, GPU, CPU, RAM, Keyboard and Mouse, Windows HDD/SSD to narrow down the hardware at fault.
A bad PSU could be given out bad Voltages. You can check with a Multimeter - eliminates possibly a defective PSU.
Processor went bad, you can check by installing it on another computer or putting another compatible processor on your motherboard and see if it boots up.
With RAM just install one RAM Stick and see if it boots up.
Possibly shorted or defective Motherboard
I would open a Support ticket with AMD & Gigabyte to see if they feel you need to RMA either the CPU or Motherboard to be checked by them.
Hello, I got the exact same problem everything work in my i've tested each component why an other motherboard and it's work fine here with the aorus x570 elite only got black screen, but the thing seems weird to me is that I can bios update with qflash + and it's seems to complete normally but still black screen ...
Have you find a solution or is someone can help me ?
Thanks in advance
if everything else works. Then its ur cpu or mobo.
try getting mobo changed.
