Your motherboard supports the AM4 Ryzen 2000, 3000, 4000 G Series, 5000, and 5000 G Series processors.  That being said, you'll likely need to perform a BIOS update (click here for the listing), but there are warnings in several of the BIOS updates about not using that BIOS for certain processors (Pinnacle, Raven or Summit Ridge CPU).  Those are all 1st and 2nd generation Ryzen processors, so you should be ok with 3000 and up for the AM4 socket.

I think an AM4 5600x would be a good bang for the buck choice in your case, since it doesn't cost much money.  Do you have a discrete video card installed?  If so, which one?  That would help you determine the best match for your other system components.

Thank you for taking time to looking into my post.

I currently have a Radeon RX 590 Series.

Well then, you won't get too much benefit (regarding gaming) if you go beyond a Ryzen 5600X without also upgrading the GPU.  Those are even more expensive right now too.  It comes down to how much you like to game and how much you are willing to spend.

Looking around the web, it would seem the 'CB' denotes an OEM system builders board (cyberpower?).

If so, you would need to contact their support about upgrade path or bios update for such.

My PC- Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, NM790 2TB, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.10 Pro., LC27G55T.

Not a bad suggestion, I will reach to them to see what they can say. Thanks.

Hi

I'm sorry to be this guy but AM4 has finally reached its end. It only makes sense if you can snatch a X3D CPU, thats incredibly rare right now and you would still be held back by the GPU.

With DDR4 manufacturing coming to an end and AM5 finally fully matured, makes much more sense to save the money and get one of the latest 9k Ryzen CPUs, even a 9600X will be night and day from what you have now.

If budget is tight. Wait for Strix Halo, there are good news going around, and a NUC with a 40CU iGPU that can blast a 4060. Its a nice little gaming machine to have and it should cost less than a midrange computer.

And if budget is close to non existant, slap a 5600X and call it a day.

Thank you, I have been doing some research myself as well, I agree. It seems AM4 even stopped bios updates and while I was looking into improving my specs, maybe I will just add more ram, keep it the way it is, and start looking into a motherboard with a CPU for more years to come. Technology do evolves fast, before systems would linger around longer and updates were common, now, they just innovate and move forward.
