Ryzen 5900X System constantly crashing

Hi

I have an MSI x570- Tomahawk Wifi and I sued to run a 3900x which was rock solid.

I upgraded to a 5900x and since then I've been having a LOT of stability issues. The system will just power down (Not Blue screen) when idling.

This error is repeated in the log EACH time it reboots :

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Bus/Interconnect Error
Processor APIC ID: 0

The details view of this entry contains further information.

- I'm on the latest bios (MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI(MS-7C84) V1.8
- I'm running supported memory (4 x 16GB Crucial BL16G36C16U4B)
- I'm running on the XMP profile for the memory
- I've done a memory test and the memory has passed - no errors

System Spec :
5900x
X570 Tomahawk
64GB (4 x 16 Ram at 3600)
EVGA 750 Gold PSU
Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super

To get the system stable I've had to disable BOTH PBO and CBP (a solution from a different thread). This isn't great as I'm obviously not getting the performance from my 5900x (in fact performance is WORSE than my 3900x in this state). I'm currently limited to running at 3

Please help!

Disappointed that nobody from the AMD community or company has responded - fortunately the motherboard manufacturer provided a solution.

The issue is memory stability issues with Agesa bios 1.2.0.5

Rolling back to a previous version fixed it
