My Ryzen 9 5900x works fine after cold boot and boosts up to 4900Mhz. But after resume from sleep mode it never boosts above 3700Mhz clock. All 12 cores are locked to 3.7Ghz max.
It is not monitoring glitch. Benchmark results are significantly lower. Obviously temps are lower too.
Windows is fresh install with latest drivers. No bloatware from MB manufacturer installed.
Switching between windows power profiles does nothing.
As workaround I am using hibernate instead of sleep mode. After resume from hibernate CPU boosts fine.
I also have Ubuntu 22.04 installed as dual-boot on this PC. On Linux side everything is working perfectly. Ryzen boosts to 4900Mhz after resume from suspend mode.
I suspect that windows update may cause this bug. I manually uninstalled august 2022 cumulative security update and for some time CPU seems to boost fine. But before I could 100% confirm this Windows automatically installed September 2022 update and now uninstalling it does nothing.
Can anyone help me?
