Ryzen 5 5600, 95 degrees celsius in 1 minute cinbench

Hello, when i using cinebench my ryzen 5 5600 temperature rises to 95 degrees celsiun in cinebench in less than a minute. in gamesy the temperature is about 80 degrees. the only way to manage these high temperatures was to undervolting the cpu by - 25 mV. Is this normal or do i have a faulty unit? thanks for your help.

Hi, this is a frequent topic here on the community.

As always, temperatures are heavily dependent on several factors.

What cooler, what case, whats the room temperature, fans and the placement, even the GPU will contribute to increased temperatures or if you have a case on the floor or on the desk.

Then, there is your "personal feeling". To some,as long as it doesn't throttle its fine. To me 85 on cinebench is the limit while 60 or 70 is what I want for gaming and that is while using a 7950X

-25mv is also just a tiny undervolt, you can do more.

Good luck
