i just recently purchased the ryzen 5 2400g and got everything installed and when i was going to play some games i noticed that it says my available memory( for graphics) is only 256MB. is there a way i can fix this?

It really does not matter it uses your system memory, if and only if a game or something will not launch because of what it detects does it make any difference. For instance the ff15 demo says I only have 64mb video memory but it launch and uses what it needs. You can set it in your bios/uefi but you would have to get with msi on where those setting are.
