Should note off the bat that I spilled water in my rig a little over a week ago but the only thing I noticed damaged was the GPU. I immediately held down the power button to power off until I could dry things off and ever since then my 2700x will boot up at .600 mhz according to ryzen master. I can change the profile and restart and everything will work fine, but if I put the computer to sleep, turn it off and back on again and more recently sometimes just during extended use it will reset back to .600. Is there anything I can try to do to fix this or is it physical damage and things need replacing?
cpu: 2700x
mobo: asus prime x470-pro
Things I have tried so far:
Resetting cmos
Resetting cmos but holding down the power button for 20 seconds this time while battery is out (im not sure if theres a difference here)
sfc /scannow (it found corrupted files but it didnt fix anything)
Updating mobo drivers
Reinstalling ryzen master
Would really hope for some good news that it's just some corrupted software causing it to boot improperly or something. Thanks for any replies
