Me and my partner just installed a Dell Power Edge r420 xeon dual cpu server. It cost $650 and another $300 for windows server 2012.
32 gb of ram and the performance of the processors is half that of a ryzen 1700 x (cpu boss) Except for its cache capacity.
we currently have 35 computers up and expecting another 35.
Would it make sense to take a
Ryzen 1700x Water Cooled (stable OC)
32GB of Ram (Stable OC)
and hang that bish on a wallmount and make that a server?
we expect about 15 to 25 users Max and I still feel its over kill
