RMA Help - OPN Doesn't Match What Was Ordered
I ordered a retail 7600X in December and am now attempting to RMA the CPU due to the system refusing to POST after working for a couple months(verified bad CPU). When I started the RMA process, I noticed the OPN (100-000000593) on my CPU does not match what was ordered (100-100000593WOF) despite coming in a sealed retail box. Newegg told me it was because that particular product did not come with a fan and to RMA it under the retail part number (100-100000593WOF); however, I'm concerned AMD will not accept the RMA. I'm reluctant to send in an RMA from the wrong OPN and risk losing my processor, any recommendations are appreciated.
