Question on AMD's RMA process

Does anyone have experience with the AMD RMA process? I have a defective 5950x that I returned a couple weeks ago and I received an email saying that the RMA transaction was completed but I didn't received any information about the replacement cpu shipping.

Thanks!

This is the email I received from AMD:

This is a confirmation notice from AMD Global Customer Care with
regards to Cross Ship Warranty Request RMA# (__) for your AMD
retail packaged Processor(s) in a Box.

This is to confirm receipt of your defective product which you shipped
back to us as part of the Cross Ship Warranty Replacement.

This completes this transaction and we thank you for your business.

Best regards,

AMD Global Customer Care.

I got the same email back on Dec. 31. Waiting for them to follow up with another email about shipping the actual replacement processor.

I suspect AMD is waiting for more supplies of their Ryzen 5000 processors. But two weeks is a long wait. So I would check in again.

I later sent an email to AMD's tech support, and they said 'Once RMA processed You will get a notification from warehouse.'
