The 3200G is over 2 years old. At the time of its introduction, the MSRP was $99. It is now selling for 2-3x that.
On the other hand, a CPU like the 5600G which only just came out a few months ago and is a substantially faster and more capable CPU, is selling for about the same price that the 3200G now goes for.
So unless you've got an old mobo that won't support current gen Ryzens, why not get a 5600G?
