I got a new Ryzen 5 5500 to replace a Ryzen 3 3200G. For some reason my PC refuses to post with the Ryzen 5 5500 even tho the motherboard's BIOS is on the latest version which is meant to support it. I also noticed my GPU fans are not spinning with the Ryzen 5 5500 installed. I tried every throubleshooting step, every component works with the Ryzen 3 3200G installed. I'm thinking either the CPU arrived broken or the BIOS is at fault. Maybe revert the BIOS all the way to the first version that supported this CPU model?

GPU: RX 5700XT MSI Mech

Motherboard: ASUS B450M A II

RAM: Kingston Fury 2x8GB 3200Mhz

Which Bios are you using ? According to Asus it should be the below

I was using the latest BIOS. I tried all the possible troubleshooting steps I could find, since the PC still didn't post I decided to contact the store for a replacement.
