PC has power but screens goes black while gaming.

  • My specs:
    • Ryzen 7 9800x3D 
    • MSI tomahawk x670E wifi
    • 32 gb Corsair DDR5 6000MHz ram
    • Corsair Nautilus 360 RS Liquid CPU Cooler
    • MSI  3060 ventus 2x
    • samsung 980 pro SSD 1 tb
    • samsung  990 Evo SSD 
    • Power Spec 1005w psu

I bought all these parts new, except for the 3060 and SSDs(pulled from my old pc) The issue I’m having is the pc works well under light loads(YouTube, discord) but while playing games the screen goes black, and the CPU and DRAM lights on my MB turn on (Red CPU, yellow Dram) I turn the pc off, then back on and the lights are still there.  I have flashed the bios multiple times after resetting the CMOS before. This has happened 4 times within the last 2 days. I’m at my wits end.

Do you have another power supply you can test with?

 

How are your CPU and GPU temps?

 

Check for firmware updates for your SSDs
