PC freezes while on Netflix

recently upgraded my CPU cooler and case and since that I've been experiencing frequent crashing where nothing works and the only way to fix it is to restart the system. I've played multiple games for hours and had absolutely no problem but it only seems to freeze or crash while in on Netflix, it only happened one other place and that was on my lock screen right after restarting it from it freezing on Netflix. I've updated my drivers, updated my bios, updated my chipset, checked all the wires, checked my ram, I've run out of options and I don't want to start buying stuff till i figure out what's wrong and end up practically buying a new rig.

There's one thing you haven't tried.

Reinstall Windows 10.

A couple of the biggest culprits for what you are experience when it is hardware related are either bad or mismatched memory. Did you use memory from the QVL list for your motherboard. Or potentially a failing power supply.

This is assuming the instability isn't self inflicted by having one or more components not at defaults such as overclocks etc.

I suggest resetting your bios to defaults and seeing if that helps stability.

The odd thing is that is this really only happening with just Netflix?

Also how are you running netflix. Are you using the Windows 10 app store app or are you using it in a browser? If in a browser, have you tried from another browser? Also have you tried disabling hardware acceleration in  your browser. If that helps it may be more GPU than cpu or system related.

Please respond if your system is at defaults and with your full hardware specs and we can go from there.
