No info about Max Memory Speed - AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
Some of the hardware I own: (I use this computer for gaming)
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M AORUS Elite
- RAM memory: (2x8GB) Asgard Loki W2 RGB 3200MHz CL 18-22-22-42 [DDR4] [1Rack]
- Video Card: RX 6750 XT 12GB [Recently Acquired]
The question:
As informed, I own 2 RAM sticks right now. I intend to buy two more so that I can achieve 32GB RAM.
Does anyone know if the Processor Ryzen 5 5600G support 4 RAM sticks running at 3200 MHz?
I'm aware that when you use certain processors, you may lose some RAM Speed if you add more sticks.
The official Ryzen 5 5600G does not contain this information: https://www.amd.com/en/product/11176
But a different model does. Check the Max Memory Speed spec: https://www.amd.com/pt/product/10201

Check on the 'memory compatibility list' for your motherboard/cpu on the Gigabyte website.
Running mixed ram kits can be problematic, better to buy a 2 x 16 GB kit (then sell old ram to recover some of the cost).
