New 3400g build hard freezing

Hi, I've recently built a new system to be a home media plex server based round a ryzen 3400G spec as follows...
Windows 10 Pro
AMD Ryzen 3400g
MSI B450M pro-vdh max
16GB Corsair vengeance lpx CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 ram
WD Blue SN550 500GB drive
Antec P100S Case
Originally it was built with an antec power suply from my old i3 build and a usb pcie card for additional ports for external drives. Before installing os I updated bios to latest, v8 I think, enabled xmp on ram and set video memory to 2gb in bios. Installed windows fine, activated online using previous licence installed chipset and newest video driver from amd and audio and lan from msi and fully updated windows. All seemed to be ok setup plex then left running happily.
After a 2 or 3 days I couldn't connect to plex or rdp so came to pc and was frozen on black screen. Rebooted checked event log nothing there so left running. Few days later same issue rebooted left running maybe 48 hours later same. I thought it seemed to be getting stuck hibernating as system had power but wouldn't wake video. Changed from amd balanced to normal windows power profile and set video as well as system to never sleep left running around 48 hours later hard freeze again this time video froze. Started to notice when working on pc locally using wireless microsoft keyboard and mouse keyboard would occassionally stutter and not register key presses.
Drilled through event log found a couple of errors relating to recovering amdakg, or something similar, which looked like video, a couple relating to duplicate hdd ids which I tracked to a seagate issue with their external drives but no errors at time of freezes.
Started researching and trying troubleshooting so uninstalled radeon drivers using DDU in safe mode and tried to run with no radeon video driver, now getting reboots around every 24 hours.
Ran windows mem test and system passed
Ran memtest86, first time got 2 errors both on cpu4 running test 6 block move on 3rd pass.
Increased ram voltage from 1.375 to 1.4 ran memtest86 again twice no errors and no crashes during over 6 hours of testing. Ran windows again now crashing every few hours still no errors but occassionaly freezes and reboots instead of just hard freeze.
Some other general troubleshooting and various reg "fixes" from online posts that made no difference. Now getting less than 30 minutes between freezes with occassional reboots, windows running nothing at points when it freezes.
Tried to run in safe mode but freeze occurred in safe mode too.
Removed all external devices except usb keyboard and wireless mouse, same issues and freezes getting shorter.
Reinstalled windows, same issues.
Removed usb card while doing this realised pcie card detected in slot 1 and slot 3 but not recognised by bios in slot 2 so suspected faulty motherboard, now over 30 days since I bought parts which is annoying, and honestly if I wasn't I'd try and return the lot, so contacted amazon and arranged a replacement mobo. Decided to order a new psu at same time just in case it was that, though the antec had been rock solid for years, so got a 600w be quiet pure power 11. Installed both today and.....same issue.
Reinstall OS only parts connected are mobo, cpu, nvme drive, psu and ram, os installed fine but within 15 mins of installing drivers, same issue.
Tested each dimm in slot 2 individually, same issue with both.
I'm out of ideas it feels like an os issue it never freezes outside windows, the keyboard and mouse are still glitching after 2 os installs and new batteries, Ive owned them for over a year and again never had an issue until this build, and memtest 86 can run error free multiple times. I've already swapped psu and mobo so if not software it's ram sdd or cpu. Kinda leaning towards cpu but I'm outside automatic return window and don't want to try and take too much advantage of amazon but equally not keen on manufacturer RMA process, I'm kinda leaning towards CPU but does it really seem like a cpu fault?
any advice appreciated?????
