Why would AMD change the MSRP of Ryzen 9 5900x processors. It was launched for INR 41,990 and was on sale for INR 49500 atleast. Ryzen 9 3900x and 3900xt are going for INR 39000 here. So it was fair to pay 25% extra for a new item which brings 25% more IPC performance. But now retailers are saying price has been increased by AMD itself and product is going for INR 55000. I would suggest to show the item on AMD online store with its fair MRP even as out of stock. Atleast customer can check the price from there and wont end up paying more than they should.

 Shortage of stock is already a huge issue to deal with and it wouldn't be fair to overpay above that.

Most likely the Retailer or Vendor is lying to you about the real reason why they are charging so much.

There are no listings for Ryzen 9 5000 series processors on AMD official store for India. In US it cost 549$ and AMD sets the MSRP in India as INR 41990(About 549$) + 18% GST, which is all fair. Problem is that now retailers(official partners) are saying that AMD has increased the price and pricing is all over the place. If only AMD has listed these processors on its official store with respective prices, it would have been much easier to know what's going on. One retailer has listed 5900x at the same price as 5950x, probably a mistake though here. Some retailers are selling it for the same price as 3950x.
