Idle voltages & frequencies on Ryzen 5 3600

HI, I have just gotten a new pc with Ryzen 5 3600 processor.

Currently, my idle voltages are around 1.3-1.4V and my core speed(Core 0) is around 4000MHz and would sometimes drop to 3500MHz annd spike up to 4000MHz again.

I'm using Asus Prime B450 Plus motherboard and updated the BIOS to the latest, 1804. I have also installed the latest chipset from AMD and I'm using the Ryzen balanced power plan. From what I see in the processor power management, the minimum processor state has a value of 99% & and maximum of 100%.

My system is using an AIO liquid cooler to cool the cpu so I have an idle temperature of 48 degrees C & around 55 degrees C while gaming. I'm using CPU-Z to monitor my specs with no other running monitoring apps.

In my BIOS, my VDDCR core voltage is set to auto, there is another option labelled as 'manual'.

I would like to know whether there are any problems with my processor.

Try the Windows "Balanced" Power Plan and set its min processor level to 1% and leave the max processor level at 100%, this will take affect as soon you you press apply and you don't need to restart your system.

Its not recommended to adjust to Max processor value below 100%

See if your temps begin to drop and let us know how it went.

BTW:

55.c while gaming is actually a very low temp, system will shut down at 95.c to avoid damage.
