How do ryzen 5 3600 temperature sensors work?

Hello,

I just bought a Ryzen 5 3600 processor.

I would like to know how many temperature sensors it contains.

Indeed, I use linux and the sensors command only returns the temperature of "k10temp-pci-00c3
Adapter: PCI adapter "

(I think it's the temperature of the motherboard but I'm not sure ...)

Can you help me monitor the temperature of this processor?

I will take a look next time I am working on Libertas
I have not fitted a Linux Drive to that machine yet.

It might be quicker for drflo  to try to get detailed answers over at https://forum.level1techs.com/
Much interest and experience available on Ryzen CPU on Linux.
Very friendly to new or less experienced Linux Users.

Bye.

Linux support for CPU thermal sensors is basic but effective. The kernel can notice when a processor is close to thermal max and warn a user about the machine health.

This is done at the kernel as many like me do not use a GUI, when a user snarky CLI is all that is needed
