Help Please - Ryzen 9550X3D - 11000+ MHz Boosting & Passing TJMax on Regular Settings

I got the Ryzen 9950X3D today. I am running it on an ASUS x670e ProArt Creator WiFi with a Thermaltake Riing Flow 360 AIO, and 8+ 120mm fans on the case in a positive pressure flow. The only BIOS modification is setting EXPO I to achieve the 6000 MHz memory speed.

I was on Beta Bios 2804 initially, and achieved the boost ratings as seen in the screenshot; 11544~11918 MHz or 11.54~11.92 GHz. I thought this was extremely odd as the max is supposed to be 5.7 GHz.

So, I updated the BIOS to the latest 2904. The behavior is reduced, but still occurs. Now, instead of all cores showing that way, all but 2~4 cores drop to 400~900 MHz, and the 2~4 cores boost to the 11k+ MHz range.

I am concerned this behavior could damage the CPU. It only went as high as 93C in most occasions. Core Temp registered the highest at one point of 98C during gameplay which is above TJMax of 95C.

Any feedback here is appreciated.

Core Temp is incorrectly reading the CPU base clock and multiplier. (186 x 61)

CPU-Z appears to be showing the correct values. (100 x 43)

1.18.1 is the latest version of Core Temp available but it's from 2023 - you could try posting in their support forum maybe they can develop a fix. In the mean time I would use different software to monitor temperature.
