Recently bought a used PC with an amd fx-6100. All was well and operational. After installing OS again all was fine. I allowed my son to tweak a few settings OC and again ALL was well. I then "reset" the bios/controls to "default" to make comparisons at which point it will no longer boot to windows, saying it needs repair. I believe one of the simple settings in the bios is preventing it from booting normally, perhaps something the previous owner corrected and that I may have inadvertently reset.
Went from clean and happy to bricked in 3 seconds flat.
It's a boat anchor now and I'm having a pissy day
Would really appreciate "setting by setting" instructs for the bios to run a simple ssd C: drive under a windows OS.
Thanks.
