Dear AMD,

I've decided to go for Ryzen 5 1600X. I have a dilemma: Even tough on your site under specifications for 1600X it says that Max System Memory Speed is 2667 Mhz, I've seen some builds and guides that recommend to go for 3000Mhz or even 3200Mhz when buying RAM Memory.

My questions would be: Is there any benefit from using higher memory then 2667Mhz with Ryzen 5 1600X, and of course is it safe to use it?

Thank you in advance for your attention. I'm looking forward to your reply.

Kind Regards,

Stevan

Very much so, Ryzen is very memory dependent, the faster the better. And it's safe to use it, just make sure you purchase models which are on your motherboard's QVL list.
